Who We Are?

About Spark Link Africa

Our Vision: To create a thriving Africa where every young person is empowered, equipped, and inspired to lead change, foster innovation, and build resilient communities for a sustainable future.

Our Mission: To connect, empower, and equip young Africans with the skills, resources, and networks necessary to unlock their full potential and contribute meaningfully to building better and more resilient African communities.

Our Core Values

Our core values define our existence and why we do what we do as a social organization.

  • Innovation: We foster a culture of creativity and encourage out-of-the-box thinking to address Africa’s challenges and opportunities.
  • Collaboration: We believe in the power of teamwork and building strong networks to achieve collective success.
  • Empowerment: We equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to become self-sufficient and drive positive change.
  • Sustainability: We promote responsible practices and solutions that ensure a thriving Africa for future generations.
  • Integrity: We uphold the highest ethical standards in all our endeavors, fostering trust and transparency.
  • Inclusivity: We celebrate Africa’s diversity and believe that everyone has a valuable contribution to make.
  • Excellence: We strive for excellence in all aspects of our work, providing young Africans with world-class resources and opportunities.

Our Commitment to SDGs

Our mission aligns with several key SDGs established by the United Nations:

  • SDG 1: No Poverty: We partner with other CSOs, international organizations, private and public stakeholders to fight against poverty in Africa. Our humanitarian aid programs are designed to help underprivileged children, women, and youth overcome poverty through our empowerment programs.
  • SDG 4: Quality Education: We collaborate with educational institutions to deliver inclusive training programs that bridge the knowledge gap across demographics. These programs equip young Africans with the skills they need to navigate the complexities of the modern world.
  • SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth: We prioritize initiatives that reduce unemployment and promote sustainable economic development. Recognizing the crucial role of innovation, we champion.
  • SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure:  We empower young Africans to implement innovative solutions that create decent work opportunities and drive economic progress.

Become a changemaker, and let's build better Africa communities

In order to bring about the change we want to see in Africa, we encourage every young person to engage in developing resilient solutions for their communities. We encourage volunteering for our programs. Joining the SLAFRIC Young Entrepreneurs Network (SYEN) gives young people the opportunity to get involved and reach out to underprivileged communities in Africa with our programs.
